Wishing you a Happy New Year!!

I happened to be in New York for the first time during the month of Dec. It is wonderful to see all the holiday lights and decorations. Store displays are spectacular, to say the least. This display of ornaments (5 ft tall!) in a fountain on 6th Ave caught my eye, and thought of using it as the background for a greeting.

What I love about New York is the fact that there is so much public art on display on every street. I love walking in cities where public art is displayed in one form or another. Art always kindles the right brain, which so often doesn’t get tickled due to the complex world that we live in. Everything in this digital age is based on numbers and analysis, and it is hard to find things that are just plain emotional and art is one of those.

Art evokes all kinds of emotions in us, and it reminds us that the world is a colorful and friendly place.

Wish you and your family a very Happy and Prosperous New Year 2010!

Cheers!
